Information about the Issaquah area

Issaquah's population as of April 1999 is 10,130

In the next 20 years, Issaquah's population is expected to double and with it, the number of households and jobs.

While only 10,130 people of all ages live within the city limits, it is estimated that about 45,000 live in the area it serves.

Issaquah is often defined in terms of the city limits plus the adjoining growth area (potential annexation areas). The current city limits encompass 5.7 square miles, while the Issaquah growth area adds nearly 4 times this area.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Come see the tulip fields that compare to an explosion in a paint factory. On a clear day you can stand in the tulip fields and see the Olympics, Cascades and Mount Baker. A little bit of heaven on earth.
